The drawing of lots for the FIDE Candidates Tournament 2024 took place a few days ago in Toronto’s Madison Pub in Canada, and the pairings have been announced today!
Aleksandra Goryachkina will hold number 1, and by the Candidates Pairings rules, Kateryna Lagno takes number 8. Anna Muzychuk is number 2, Lei Tingjie 3 and Tan Zhongyi is 6, Vaishali will start the event with number 4 and Koneru Humpy is 5. Nurgyul Salimova will have number 7.
