Grand Chess Tour 2024 – Schedule of events

The Grand Chess Tour 2024 series of five events starts in May this year with the Superbet Poland Rapid & Blitz in Warsaw! The tour consists of two classical and three rapid & blitz tournaments, and the exact schedule of the events was announced yesterday.

• Superbet Poland Rapid & Blit, May 6-13, 2024 – Warsaw, Poland
• Superbet Chess Classic, June 25-July 6, 2024 – Bucharest, Romania
• SuperUnited Croatia Rapid & Blitz, July 8-25, 2024 – Zagreb, Croatia
• Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz, August 10-17, 2024 – Saint Louis, Missouri, USA
• Sinquefield Cup, August 17-31, 2024 – Saint Louis, Missouri, USA

The Grand Chess Tour traditionally gathers the world’s best chess players who earn GCT points in accordance with their final rank in each Tour’s event. At the end of the Grand Chess Season, the best-ranked players on the overall GCT standings win bonus money prizes.
