The 45th Trusts Chess Open is set to take place from 3rd to 5th June, 2023, at the Te Pai Centre, Cnr Lincoln Road, in Auckland, New Zealand.
The event will feature four sections: A-Grade (1800 and above), B-Grade (1500 to 1999), C-Grade (under 1500) and U12 Junior. The events will be played in 6 rounds, swiss system, with time control of 90 minutes for the entire game plus a 30-second increment starting on move one. Draws are not allowed before move 30.
The event is organized by the Waitakere Chess Club and supported by the Trusts Community Foundation and the West Auckland Trusts.
