The Cannes Chess Festival 2024 is taking place from 19-25 February at the Cannes’ Salon des Ambassadeurs, in France. The festival features three tournaments: Open A (for players rated 2200+), Open B (for players rated U2100) and Open C (for players rated U1600), with the total prize fund of 10.000 euros.

More than 400 players participate the event, with 136 participants in the A tournament. The field is headlined by GM Abhimanyu Puranik (India, 2635), GM Chongsheng Zeng (China, 2597) and GM Krishnan Sasikiran (India, 2585).
