The 40th Open Internacional d’Escacs d’Andorra 2024 is taking from 20-28th July at the Hotel Panorama in Andorra with the participation of 150 participants representing 31 national chess federations. Among them are 12 Grandmasters and 11 International Masters.
The event is played in 9 rounds, swiss system, with time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves and 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move starting from the first move. The total prize fund of the event is 10.500 euros.
