Prague Chess Festival 2024 officially opened

The 6th edition of the Prague International Chess Festival was officially declared opened yesterday evening at the Opening ceremony attended by players and officials. Legendary grandmaster and five-time World Chess Champion Viswanathan Anand addressed the players and was one of the attendees of the Ceremony.

The games will start today and the Festival be held from 27 February to 7 March at the four-star Don Giovanni Hotel Prague, Czech Republic with Masters, Challengers, Futures tournaments, Karel Janecek Open Chess Tournament, and a variety of side events. It will be one of the strongest fields ever at the Prague Chess Festival 2024, with seven 2700+ players in the Masters field!
