The Karel Janecek Chess Open 2024 is part of the Prague Chess Festival 2024 and takes place from 28 February – 7 March with a prize pool of 100.000 CZK (~4.000 EUR).
A very strong field of 300 players is headlined by GM Eltaj Safarli (Azerbaijan, 2614), GM Sethuraman SP (India, 2603), and GM Vitaliy Bernadskiy (Ukraine, 2572), and includes famous streamers: Botez Sisters, Dina Belenkaya etc.
