The latest editions of Titled Tuesday events took place on 9th April on Chess.com.

Polish top player Jan-Krzysztof Duda emerged clear winner of the Early Titled Tuesday with 10/11 points.

GM David Paravyan won the Late Titled Tuesday with the same score 10/11 points, half a point clear of GM Jose Martinez.

Titled Tuesday (TT) is Chess.com’s weekly 11-round Swiss tournament for titled players, occurring twice each Tuesday at 8 a.m. PT and 2 p.m. PT. The time control is 3 min + 1 sec.

The total prize fund for the day is USD 5000, with USD 1000 dedicated to the winner of each event.

The participation was massive, with 675 players in the Early and 458 in the Late event.

In the Late TT GM David Paravyan started a bit slow with two draws in early rounds, but a furious finish of 7 consecutive wins propelled him to the top of the table. GM Jose Martinez, aka Jospem, finished clear second with 9,5 points. Magnus Carlsen finished in the group of players with 9 points each. Carlsen lost to Benjamin Bok and to Jose Martinez.
