The 1st Classical Fischer Random chess tournament ever starts today at the luxury Weissenhaus Resort in Germany! The event features world top grandmasters with Magnus Carlsen, Fabiano Caruana, Ding Liren, Alireza Firouzja, Vincent Keymer, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Gukesh D and Levon Aronian in the field.

The tournament will officially kick off with the rapid stage which will determine the starting numbers for the main classical knockout phase. But before that, the organizers scheduled an opening Press Conference starting at 11:00 CET (local time).
