The Floripa Chess Open 2024 takes place from 20-28 January 2024 in Florianopolis, Brazil. The event gathers nearly 500 players coming from 21 countries, and features a very strong line-up topped by GM Aryan Tari.
The event is played in 10 rounds, swiss system, with the time control of 90 minutes + 30 seconds increment for each move. The total prize fund of the event is 75.000 Brazil pesos (~15.000 USD).
