The 4th edition of the International Chess Tournament Stepan Avagyan Memorial is taking place from 2-12 of May, 2023 in Jermuk, Armenia. The 16 category FIDE event is played as a 10-player GM norm round-robin tournament with a total prize fund of 10.000 USD. GM Sevian Samuel is the top seed of the tournament, followed by GM Andrey Esipenko and GM Amin Tabatabaei on the starting rank list. The field includes GM Haik Martirosyan, GM Narayanan S.L., GM Thai Dai Van Nguyen, GM Nodirbek Yakubboev, GM Frederik Svane, GM Robert Hovhannisyan and GM Artur Davtyan.
