The 8th edition of the Semana Santa Chess Open 2024 is taking place from 27 March to 1 April in San Vicente del Raspeig, Spain. The event attracted more than 400 players who compete for 20.000 euros in prizes. The top seeds are GM Kirill Alekseenko (Austria, 2650), GM Vasyl Ivanchuk (Ukraine, 2625), and GM Daniil Yuffa (Spain, 2606).
