European Corporate Chess Championship 2026

Under the patronage of the European Chess Union (ECU), the European Corporate Chess Championship returns to the Paris region on November 27 and 28, 2026.

Organized by Asnières Le Grand Échiquier at the Espace Concorde-Francis Delage in Asnières-sur-Seine, the event continues its tradition of bringing strategy, decision-making, and corporate teamwork to the chessboard, following previous editions that gathered over 50 teams and 250 players.

The championship is open to companies based across Europe, allowing each organization to enter multiple teams composed of four players and a reserve.

Played under a rapid Swiss format over nine rounds, games will feature a time control of 15 minutes per player plus a 5-second increment per move.

As of early October, 20 teams have already confirmed their participation, including major international corporate sides such as Banque de France, PwC France, DZ BANK AG, Talanx, UBS Zurich, UBS Poland, Tepe Sigeman, and Redia A/S.

The competition will conclude on Saturday evening, November 28, with a gala evening and closing ceremony held at the historic Château d’Asnières-sur-Seine. Registration remains open until November 15, 2026, through the official tournament website.
