The 7th round of the 2024 Chess Olympiad brings interesting encounters on the top boards, including the match between India and China. It was a perfect time to see the game between Ding Liren and Gukesh D, who supposed to meet today. However, reigning World Chess Champion Ding Liren took a free day, skipping the game against the Challenger.

Interestingly, just a day prior to the possible real-game meeting, Ding Liren and Gukesh had a photoshooting session for the World Championship.
