The FIDE Candidates Tournament 2024 has begun in Toronto, Canada and will determine who will challenge Ding Liren and Ju Wenjun in the World Chess Championships next year.
All four games in the Men’s tournament finished in a draw yesterday, while the Women’s event saw one decisive game. Therefore, Tan Zhongyi took the early lead in the Women’s Candidates as the only player with 1 point.
