The 79th edition of the Armenian Women’s National Chess Championship is taking place from 12-20 January 2024 in Yerevan, Armenia, simultaneously with the 84th Armenian Open Chess Championship.
The event is played as a 10-player round-robin tournament, with WGM Maria Gevorgyan, WIM Susanna Gaboyan, and Polina Kobak as the top seeds. The time control of the event is 90 minutes for 40 moves, plus 30 minutes until the end of the game, with 30-seconds increment for each move.
