The 30th Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival is taking place from 15-24th August at the St. Regis Abu Dhabi Corniche Hotel in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of United Arab Emirates.
The Abu Dhabi Chess Club & Mind Games are organizing the Festival in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
The Festival consists of as many as 29 various events, from Masters Group, speed tournaments, Youth sections to promotional events.
The Masters Tournament is a 9 rounds Swiss System with 217 participants from 46 chess federations. Among them are 52 Grandmasters and 80 International Masters.
