Featuring 150 Enhanced US Chess Grand Prix points and a $30,000 guaranteed total prize fund, the premier event attracted top talent across seven competitive sections.
In the flagship Major Section (1900+), 43 competitors fought through five rounds of classical Swiss-system action (40/80, SD/30; d30).
Ukrainian GM Viktor Matviishen emerged victorious, securing clear first place with an impressive score of 4.5/5.
His dominant performance earned him the top cash prize of $3,100 USD ($3,000 for 1st place plus a $100 clear/tiebreak winner bonus).
