The winter edition of the 1000GM Bay Area Invitational events is taking place from 7th to 11th December at the Doubletree by Hilton hotel in San Jose, California.
The events are offered by the 1000GM non-profit organization, whose mission is to create an ecosystem to economically-produce and financially-sustain 1000Grandmasters of chess in the USA.
The winter festival consists of two events: GM Norm Invitational and IM Norm Invitational. Both are 10-player round robins eligible for FIDE title norms.
