The Maplewood Invitational Chess Tournament is being played from July 19th to 25th at the Manoir Maplewood in Waterloo, Quebec, Canada.
The 10-player Round Robin event is featuring 7 invited Grandmasters, including the Canadian Open winner GM Jorden van Foreest, and 3 qualifiers from the Maplewood Professional Cup, making it one of the most prestigious tournaments in Canada in 2024.
The prize fund is $10,000, with $5,000 reserved for the winner. GM norms are possible.
