The Indian capital New Delhi hosts the third leg of the four-stage FIDE Women’s Grand Prix which is taking place from March 24 to April 5, 2023. It supposed to be a 12-player round-robin tournament, but the field got shortened to 11 players as Zhansaya Abdumalik withdrew from the Championship due to the organizational issues. The first round was postponed for 24 hours, and FIDE president sent an apology latter to the participants who in the meanwhile started the social media fight with sharp words.
