American Grandmasters Hikaru Nakamura and Fabiano Caruana won their respective games in the 10th round of the Candidates Chess Tournament 2024 to leap forward and remain within half a point distance from the co-leaders Ian Nepomniachtchi and Gukesh Dommaraju.
Former Women’s World Championship Challenger Lei Tingjie continued her impressive run by winning fourth out of her last five games, this time against Aleksandra Goryachkina. Lei Tingjie caught up with Tan Zhongyi in a tie on the first place.
