Tata Steel Chess India 2024

Tata Steel Chess India Rapid and Blitz 2024 is set to take place from November 13 to November 17, at the Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium, Alipore, Kolkata.

The event consists of two groups, Open and Women, with 10 players in each. The tournament format for both groups is round robin.

Time control for Rapid is 25 min for game with 10 sec increment, while time control for Blitz is 3 min for game with 2 sec increment.

The winners of the Rapid tournaments will receive $10,000 prize, while the winners of the Blitz tournaments will be awarded with $7,500 each.
