The President’s Day Chess Open 2024 takes place from 16-19 February at the Washington Dulles Aiport Marriott in Virginia, USA.
The event features four rating categories: Premier (for players rated 1900+), U1900, U1500 and U1100, with 7 rounds, swiss system, and time control of 90 minutes + 30 seconds increment. The total prize fund amounts to $5,500 and the top-prize in the main Premier event is $1200.
The distribution of prizes:
- Premier: $1200/$600/$300/$200/$150
- U1900: $800/$400/$200/$100
- U1500: $400/$200/$100/$75
- U1100: $300/$150/$75
