Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx is an avid chess player, who started playing the game when he was seven or eight years old. His father taught him how the pieces move and Jamie said that since then he is addicted to chess.
Jamie’s playing strength, if he is serious, might peak at around 2000 elo, as estimated by the New Orleans legend Jude Acers. The two were involved in some games of street chess, as captured by Herb Leonard (IG: @phototypeproductions).
