The 44th edition of the Panhellenic Women’s Chess Championship takes place in Athens from 3rd-11th December 2022. The event is held concurrently with the 71st Panhellenic Individual Chess Championship for Men.
The Winner of the 2022 Panhellenic Women’s Championship will become the Greek Women’s National Chess Champion. The tournament is played in 10 rounds, round-robin system, with a time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-second increment from move 1.Â
WGM Marina Makropoulou tops the field together with Antonia Chirstodoulaki and WFM Evanthia Makka. Participants list:
