The third leg of the Grand Chess Tour 2024, SuperUnited Rapid and Blitz Croatia, is taking place from 10-14th July at The Westin Hotel in Zagreb, Croatia.
This event will feature seven full-tour players and three wildcard players. The total prize fund is $175,000.
The event will be played in 9 round-robin rapid rounds (2 points/game), and 9 double round-robin blitz rounds (1 point/game), and the cumulative sum of the points will determine the Winner of the tournament.
Despite Magnus Carlsen’s withdrawal due to personal reasons, the playing field is still very strong.
