The final event and signature tournament of the Grand Chess Tour circuit, the Sinquefield Cup is taking place from 19-29th August at The World Chess Hall of Fame in Saint Louis, USA.
This event features nine full-tour players and one wildcard player, reigning World Champion Ding Liren from China. The total prize fund is $350,000. At the end of the tournament, a new tour champion will be crowned.
Wesley So defeated Ian Nepomniachtchi in round 4, tying for 1st place with Alireza Firouzja. All other games ended in draws.
