Grandmaster from India and reigning Commonwealth Chess Champion Sethuraman S.P. convincingly won the Weissenhaus Young Masters tournament in Germany.
Sethuraman concluded the event with 7/9 points, a full point ahead of 2nd-placed GM Pavel Eljanov from Ukraine.
The Weissenhaus Young Masters 2024 was held from 14-18th October at the Weissenhaus in Wangels, Germany.
The 10-player round robin was organized by the Weissenhaus Holding Verwaltungs GmbH. The playing field consisted of five experienced Grandmasters and five top German young talents.
