The 3rd and the final speed event of the Grand Chess Tour 2024,ย Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz Chess Tournament, is taking place from 12-16th August at The World Chess Hall of Fame.
The event gathers 10 world top grandmasters who will compete over the course of 9 rapid rounds and 9 double round-robin blitz rounds. The participants are Fabiano Caruana (USA 2805), Ian Nepomniachtchi (FID 2770), Alireza Firouzja (FRA 2737), Nodirbek Abdusattorov (UZB 2765), Wesley So (USA 2757), Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (FRA 2732), Praggnanadhaa R (IND 2747), Hikaru Nakamura (wildcard USA 2794), Levon Aronian (wildcard USA 2729), and Leinier Dominguez (wildcard USA 2748).
