The 2024 Saint Louis Masters is a premier chess event featuring top international players set to take place from 3-7th December at the Maryland Ballroom at the Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza Hotel, Saint Louis, Missouri.
The 9-round Swiss event is valid for the FIDE Circuit standings and qualification into future top-tier tournaments.
The tournament is registered with FIDE as a norm-producing event, offering players the chance to achieve title norms.
The total prize fund is $100,000, with $20,000 reserved for the winner.
GM Illia Nyzhnyk was among the first to confirm participation. The field is led by the World #2 and reigning US Champion Fabiano Caruana.
