The 2024 Open Internacional de Sants – Ciutat de Barcelona is taking place from 23rd August to 1st September at the Auditorium of the Civic Center of Les Cotxeres de Sants in Barcelona.
The event is organized by the Catalan Chess Federation and Secretariat d’Entitats de Sants Hostafrancsi la Bordeta, with the support of the Barcelona City Council.
The event will be a 10-round tournament using the FIDE System (Dutch). Tournament website.
There are three sections:
– Group A: Open to all players, regardless of their rating.
– Group B: For players up-to-1949 FIDE rating.
– Group C: For players up-to-1649 FIDE rating.
