The NSW Chess Open 2023 will be held from 10-12 June at the premises of the Russian Club in Sydney, Australia. The event will be played in 7 rounds, swiss system, with time control of 90 minutes + 30 seconds per move from move 1, with Major and a Minor Division. Entry is limited to 150 players.
The total prize fund of the event is $8,900, with $1,500 reserved for the Winner of the Major event and $1,000 reserved for the Winner of the Minor division. Distribution of prizes can be found below:
