U.S. star Hikaru Nakamura came out on top in a thrilling last gasp Grand Final of the Chessable Masters to seal his first Champions Chess Tour title on Friday.
Coming from the Losers Bracket, Nakamura first won the Grand Final proper by 3-1. He proceeded to win the Grand Final reverse by 2-1 after heading into Armageddon tiebreak.
