After completing the U.S. Chess Championship in Saint Louis, Hans Niemann issued an official video apology to the Saint Louis Chess Club, Chase Hotel and all their staff, and to Jeanne and Rex Sinquefield. He hopes the club would lift the ban on his participation in the invitational events.
