The third match of the “Hans Niemann against the World Series” is set to take place from 20-24th August at the Blitz Society Bar in Paris, France.
Niemann’s opponent is Grandmaster Etienne Bacrot. The prize fund is $30,000 with $18,000 dedicated to the match winner.
Each match in the Series will consist of: 6 classical games over 3 days (double rounds), 6 rapid games over 1 day, and 12 blitz games over 1 day. Games are weighted as 3/2/1 points, depending on the format.
The match will be broadcasted live on Hans Niemann’s Twitch.
In the first match of the Series Niemann defeated Anish Giri in Utrecht, Netherlands, and in the second match he outplayed Nikita Vitiugov in London.
The total prize fund for all three matches in the Series is $100,000.
