Shortly after the Superbet Chess Classic 2023, the Grand Chess Tour 2023 series continues with the Superbet Warsaw Rapid & Blitz. With the help of major sponsor Superbet, Poland continues to cement its place in the super tournamentsโ circuit. Like last year, the Superbet Warsaw Rapid & Blitz features the tourโs main players along with two local wildcards, and $175,000 in total prize money up for grabs.
Magnus Carlsen tops the field which includes Welsey So, Anish Giri, Levon Aronian, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Richard Rapport, Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Kirill Shevchenko, Bogdan-Daniel Deac and Radoslaw Wojtaszek.

The Winner of the event will pocket the money prize of $40.000 and earn GCT points which will be summed for the final Grand Chess Tour standings. The tournament venue is Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, Poland, with free tickets for the spectators.
