The FIDE Candidates Tournament 2024 will take place from 3-22 April in Toronto, Canada, determining the Challengers for the World Chess Championship 2025 and Women’s World Championship 2025. For the first time in history, the same venue will host the FIDE Candidates and Women’s Candidates simultaneously. It is certainly the event one would like to visit, but at what price?
FIDE has announced the prices for the Candidates tickets with a special offer for early birds. The price ranges from 49-199 Canadian dollars for one day visit, up to 1999 Canadian dollars for the VIP Grand Package.
The following pricing will be in effect until midnight on February 15, Toronto time, and the offered options are:
โข General Admission, one day: 49 CAD (Saturdays and Sundays 64 CAD)
โข All rounds General Admission package: 549 CAD
โข VIP, one day: 169 CAD (Saturdays and Sundays CAD 199)
โข VIP Grand Package: 1999 CAD

The tournament is an eight-player, double round-robin tournament, with 14 rounds where each player is facing the others twice: once with the black pieces and once with the white pieces.
