by doubleattack

In round 4 of the Chess Olympiad, the match between Bosnia & Herzegovina (BIH) and Thailand initially ended 2.5-1.5 in favor of BIH.

However, the result on board 4 was later overturned, granting victory to IM Dejan Marjanovic, adjusting the final score to 3.5-0.5 for BIH.

Marjanovic had initially resigned to FM Tinnakrit Arunnuntapanich, but an electronic device was discovered on Arunnuntapanich, leading to his forfeiture.

Arunnuntapanich was not included in Thailand’s lineup for round 5.
