Round 4 of the Budapest Chess Olympiad Open section was played today. There were several upsets against the top rated teams.
The defending champions Uzbekistan were soundly beaten 1-3 by Vietnam. At the same time Ukraine stunned the top-seeded USA, with legendary Vasily Ivanchuk delivering the decisive point.
Georgia held the higher rated England, while Canada shocked Greece with a 2.5-1.5 victory.
