Sjakksnakk podcast has published an excerpt from the interview with WFM Anna Cramling. In this video Cramling shares her thoughts about the upcoming Speed Chess Championship match between Magnus Carlsen and Hans Niemann.
I am so excited to watch this match. There was a part of me that really wanted Hans Niemann to make it, cause I thought Hans vs Magnus is going to be a crazy match. I don’t really know who’s going to win, I do think that Magnus is maybe going to be a bit annoyed by the situation and Hans will try to take that to his advantage. Because I think Hans is going to enjoy that he was able to go all the way there.
I think actually we might just get to see them playing with no more drama involved. Do I think Magnus is the favorite? Yes, I do think Magnus will win. But it depends if it annoys him psychologically that he has to play Hans, I think that is something that Hans might use to his advantage.
