An 8-year-old girl Romigot a chance to play a casual blitz game against the chess legend Vasyl Ivanchuk. Romi had a better position and better time on the clock, however, agreed to a draw by repetition of the moves.
One of the best female chess players of all time, Susan Polgar,ย watched the game and posted a video of the last 30 seconds of the match. She explained that Vasyl accepted the draw as a real gentleman, analyzing the game with the girl afterward, and showed her how she could’ve won.
