The 2nd Annual Music City Open is set to take place from 23-25th February at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel in Nashville, TN, USA.
The event consists of four sections:
- Championship – Open (which is also FIDE rated)
- Challengers for players rated U2200
- Reserve for players rated U1500
- Novice for players rated under 1000
The tournament format is 5-round Swiss with the time control G90+30.
The total prize fund is projected to $10,000 (based on 135 Entries), with $7,000 guaranteed.
- Championship – Open: $1500, $1000, $500, U/2200: $400, $200
- Challengers: $1000, $700, $500, U/1800: $400, $200
- Reserve: $700, $500, $350, U/1300 $300, 150
- Novice: $500, $300, $200
